Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, 1:45 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to 2220 Fairfield Road for a grass fire along the roadway. The fire threatened an adjacent hay field, but was extinguished before it spread to the field. Firefighters were called out at about 1:15 p.m.
