Bardstown Fire called to roadside fires near Avon Fogle bridge

Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, 5:42 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was dispatched to Loretto Road by the Avon Fogle Bridge for several small fires along the roadway. Callers said they may be hay bales that fell off a vehicle. The first fire is located right after crossing over the Blue Grass Parkway, others are scattered further south, according to the incident commander.
