Bardstown Fire responds for fire reported near Garrison Lane

Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014, 12:14 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded Monday evening about 8:45 p.m. to report of a possible structure fire in the area of Garrison Lane off Stringtown Road. Bardstown Fire responded with several trucks to investigate but did not locate a fire on Garrison Lane. Firefighters determined the reported fire was a large controlled burn in the area of the 5000 block of Bloomfield Road.
