Bardstown Fire responds to clothes dryer fire on Haverly Drive

Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, 1:17 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded Friday afternoon to a fire reported in the 100 block of Haverly Drive. Firefighters reported the fire was in the dryer. Once the dryer was out of the house, firefighters ventilated the home and removed the smoke from the house. The American Red Cross was called to assist the family with immediate housing needs.
