Bardstown Fire responds to early morning alarm at nursing home

Sunday, June 18, 2012, 3 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded to an active commercial fire alarm at Colonial Health and Rehab, 708 Bartley Ave., just before 3 a.m. Sunday morning. A sprinkler system problem caused the alarm to activate, there was no fire. The building maintenance personnel were called, and firefighters stayed on scene to offer assistance with determining the problem.
