Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, 8:47 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded to the FET Engineering building on Nutter Drive for an active fire alarm called in by the alarm company. The firefighters are on scene investigating the cause of the activation. Firefighters were called out at about 8:40 Tuesday morning. Firefighters were unable to determine the cause, but the alarm reset and was working properly. Firefighters were on the scene for about 20 minutes.
