Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, 3:15 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to Old Kentucky Home Middle School, 301 Wildcat Lane, for mulch that was on fire near the gymnasium. The fire was quickly extinguished, the other responding fire units were canceled.
