Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, 7:30 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Departmetn responded to the area of the High Grove store on US31E for a report of a field fire on the edge of the road and 200 feet from a barn. Firefighters determined the fire was a controlled burn being attended by the property owner.
