Friday, May 25, 2012, 11:25 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to 602 W. Stephen Foster for a report of smell of smoke in an apartment. Firefighters arrived on scene and determined the cause was burned food on a stove. Firefighters helped remove smoke from the building. They were on scene for about 15 minutes.
