Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, 11:45 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded Tuesday afternoon at 3:25 p.m. to a home in the 100 block of Scenic Drive for a kitchen fire. The fire was out when firefighters arrived, but the resident asked firefighters to check if fire had spread to an interior wall. Firefighters removed the range hood and cut electrical power to the stove and range hood. The American Red Cross was requested to respond to assist the residents with immediate shelter needs.
