Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, 3 a.m. — the Bardstown Fire Department was dispatched to the Nelson County Area Technology Center, 1060 Bloomfield Road for an active fire alarm at 2:28 Sunday morning. Firefighters investigated the active alarm and believed there was a problem with the sprinkler system. There was no fire.
