Friday, March 16, 2012, 7:40 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded about 10:40 Friday morning to the Nelson County Justice Center, 202 Nelson County Plaza, for an active fire alarm. When firefighters arrived, they reported the employees evacuated the building. There was no fire, and firefighters determined the alarm was triggered by a faulty detector. The building’s maintenance personnel cleaned the detector and the alarm was reset. Crews were on scene for about 30 minutes.
