Bardstown firefighters respond to fire alarm in Edgewood subdivision

Sunday, July 29, 2012, 5:50 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called Sunday afternoon to the 100 block of Rosewood Drive for an active fire alarm called in by the alarm company. Firefighters arrived on scene to find burned food on the stove. Firefighters used their equipment to remove smoke from the home. Crews were on scene for about 25 minutes. The alarm call came in at 4:51 p.m.
