Monday, March 27, 2012, 4:30 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded to a report of smoke coming from a storage shed off Ray Wimsett Boulevard, located behind the Days Inn on New Haven Road. Firefighters reported finding the shed, approximately 10 x 12 feet in size, emitting light smoke. Firefighters quickly knocked the fire down. Firefighters were called out about 4 p.m. and were on scene for about 30 minutes.
