Boston, Bardstown fire departments assist firefighters in Hardin County

Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, 1 p.m. — The Boston Fire and Bardstown Fire departments are responding to a request for mutual aid from Hardin County to assist with a brush fire in the 200 block of Youngers Creek Road in Hardin County. Hardin County has requested manpower and equipment.

1:20 p.m. — Hardin County cancels Bardstown response, reports the Boston units can continue.
