Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, 2:45 p.m. — A Botland-area man was arrested Friday afternoon after a domestic dispute that allegedly left his wife with a knife wound in her back. Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a home in the 500 block of Greer Lane at 4:25 p.m. Friday after a woman told 911 dispatchers her husband stabbed her with a kitchen knife. Police arrived and detained the man, and an EMS ambulance transported the woman to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment of non life-threatening wounds. The man was arrested and lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
