Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, 1:02 a.m. — Bardstown Police responded to a reported large fight in the parking lot of the Nelson County Civic Center, 321 S. Third St., about 12:45 early Monday morning. Officers reported seeing approximately 50 young people scatter in all directions as officers arrived to investigate the complaint. An individual at the facility said a youth event was finishing up and the dispute in the parking lot was verbal only, there was no physical fight.
