Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, 10:20 p.m. – Deputies with the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office are en route to a possible injury accident near the 36 mile marker of the Blue Grass Parkway. According to Washington County Dispatch, a beige vehicle was reported to have hit a guard rail on the westbound lane, left the roadway and overturned near the 42 mile marker. Washington County EMS was unable to locate the vehicle and have asked Nelson County to check the parkway from the Washington-Nelson County line.
10:40 p.m. — Deputies are unable to find the vehicle in Nelson County; dispatchers report that an eyewitness saw the vehicle hit a guard rail and flip over near the 42 exit in Washington County. Two Anderson County firefighters are out looking for the vehicle.
