Saturday, May 3, 2014, 7:46 p.m. — The 20-year-old driver of a white SUV suffered minor injuries Saturday about 3 p.m. when his vehicle left the roadway in the “S” curves outside Bloomfield on US62 and overturned into a ditch.
The Bloomfield Police, Nelson County Sheriff’s Office and Nelson County EMS responded to the crash. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and exited the vehicle prior to police arriving at the scene. The injured man was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital with complaints of left shoulder, arm and elbow pain.
