EMS, police called to Gap Knob Rd. for single-vehicle crash

Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, 12:40 a.m. — Police and Nelson County EMS were called Monday night about 10 p.m. to the 3000 block of Gap Knob Road for a report of a woman involved in a single-vehicle crash. The woman apparently took the vehicle without the owner’s permission. A neighbor picked the woman up from the accident site and transported her home to await the arrival of police and EMS. The woman was transported by EMS to University Hospital in Louisville.
