Friday, April 22, 2011, 4:55 p.m. — Nelson County EMS and police responded to the 300 block of Locust Street for a report of a person who had attempted suicide. A third-party told police an individual admitted taking 12 to 20 doses of a depression medicine and the individual’s speech was slurred. EMS transported the person to Flaget Memorial Hospital.
