Saturday, May 30, 2015, 3:45 a.m. — The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting 
incident that involved a man and woman at the Four Corners Bar & Grill in New Hope early Saturday morning.
Police, Nelson County EMS and the New Hope Fire Department were dispatched to the bar at 32 Stringtown Road at about 3 a.m. for a report of a man and woman with gunshot wounds. The male victim reportedly had a gunshot wound to the hand and the female victim is said to have suffered gunshot wounds to the leg and hand. The fire department responded to assist EMS with the victims. Nelson County EMS transported the victims directly to University Hospital from the scene. Alcohol was believed to have been involved in the incident.
