Monday, June 23, 2014 — Bardstown Police and Nelson County EMS responded Monday evening to a home in the 700 block of Kurtz Avenue for a reported intentional overdose of an over-the-counter medication. At 7:24 p.m, EMS was dispatched after a 27-year-old woman reportedly swallowed a quantity of 500 mg tablets of acetaminophen in an attempt to harm herself. She was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
