Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, 10:55 p.m. — A 51-year-old woman was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital after she was bitten by a spider on the hand and fell in the parking lot of a Bardstown restaurant. Nelson County EMS was called about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday to respond to the Burger King restaurant on West John Rowan. The woman told EMTs she was nauseous.
