Wednesday, May 23, 2012, 10 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to Bardstown Middle School for an active fire alarm at 9:20 Wednesday morning. When firefighters arrived, they found the school had been evacuated. A faulty detector was determined to be the cause of the alarm. Firefighters were on scene for a short time.
