Thursday, June 23, 2011, 7:12 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded to 222 West John Rowan Blvd for an active fire alarm at HEC Manufacturing. Firefighters report an odor, but cannot access the building.
7:22 p.m. — Firefighters report there is smoke in the building, they have forced entry into the building.
7:30 p.m. — Firefighters report the fire was in paint room and was contained by the sprinkler system.
