Fire department responds to Cox’s Creek for fire in a clothes dryer

Thursday, May 19, 2011, 12:05 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to 50 Leo Spalding Lane about 11:50 Thursday morning for a reported fire in a clothes dryer. The fire in the dryer was out when firefighters arrived on scene. They checked the dryer vent and the wall the vent exited for possible damage.
