Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, 10:52 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to a home at 565 Deatsville Road for a report of the home’s smoke detectors sounding. The Incident Commander reports the detectors are all tied together, and firefighters will investigate to determine the cause of the activation.
11:45 p.m. — Firefighters find no cause for the activation; they replace all the old detectors with new units.
