Sunday, June 12, 2011, 9:34 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department and Nelson County EMS are out at home on fire at 99 Longleaf Court. The fire was called in as a kitchen fire; all occupants of the home are out. The incident commander is on scene and reports flames are visible from outside the home.
9:38 p.m. — A third page is issued for more firefighters, noting this is a working structure fire.
9:58 p.m. — Firefighters report hey have the fire out and have started salvage operations. They have requested the American Red Cross respond to assist the residents with immediate shelter needs.
