Firefighters called for power lines arcing in tree off Stonehouse Rd.

Wednesday, July 18, 2012, 11:59 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the 500 block of Stonehouse Road for a reported power line that was sparking in a tree 20 feet from a residence. The call to firefighters came in at 10:20 p.m. Firefighters confirmed a power line was arcing in a tree. Salt River Electric was called to cut back the limbs. Firefighters were on scene for about 50 minutes.
