Firefighters called Saturday morning to gas line break on Parrish Blvd.

Saturday, June 29, 2013, 11:10 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called Saturday morning to a gas line break at 149 Parrish Boulevard. Responding firefighters were told someone dug into a gas line at that location, and the fire department was requested by Louisville Gas & Electric. Firefighters were called out at 10:38 a.m., and were on scene for about 30 minutes before an LG&E crew arrived and cut off the flow of natural gas.
