Wednesday, July 18, 2012, 11:45 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called out at about 10 a.m. to the Bardstown Alternative School, 6855 Louisville Road, for report of a blown florescent light fixture and a possible electrical problem. On their investigation, firefighters determined there was no electrical problem; a florescent light ballast had gone bad. The building maintenance personnel were on their way to make repairs. Firefighters were on scene for about 10 minutes.
