Sunday, July 27, 2014, 12:35 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the 3400 block of Samuels Road for a report of a fire caused by a tree limb on a power line. Firefighters received the call at 11:45 Saturday night. The fire was out by the time firefighters arrived. Firefighters stayed on the scene for about 35 minutes until a utility company representative arrived.
