Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, 7:16 a.m. — Nelson County EMS, the Bardstown Fire Department and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office were called to Ben Irvin Road for a report of a car off the roadway. The man driving the vehicle was unable to get out of the vehicle, and was on the phone with a family member who was helping first-responders locate the vehicle. The man was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of back pain.
