Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, 4:14 p.m. — Bardstown police, the Bardstown Fire Department and Nelson County EMS are en route to the 21 mile marker in the eastbound lanes of the Blue Grass Parkway for an injury accident. A vehicle is turned on its side and the occupants are trapped inside.
4:23 p.m. — Police on scene report no one is inside the vehicle. Firefighters will continue on in the event fluids spill from the vehicle. A passer-by reports a male individual on foot walking up the exit ramp at the 21 mile marker. The vehicle is registered to an individual who lives in Lexington. Police and EMS find the man at minit mart at a pay phone.
