Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, 8:10 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday to a reported barn on fire off Woodlawn Road. The call came from a residence on Independence Ave., but firefighters determined the barn was off Leathers Lane, east of American Drive. The first firefighters on scene reported the large barn was already fully involved. Firefighters were on scene until nearly 8 p.m. The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating to determine if the fire may have been arson.
