Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, 2 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded to a report of a dumpster fire at Thompson’s Food Mart, 706 North Third St. Firefighters had to access the dumpster from West Halstead Avenue since the dumpster was located behind the business. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze. The fire was reported at about 9 p.m. Thursday night.
