Friday, June 1, 2012, 11 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the Old Talbott Tavern for an active fire alarm about 3:45 Friday morning. Firefighters arrived to find the alarm sounding. After a check of the building, it was determined there was no fire. A representative of the business said the alarm system would be checked and any problems repaired. Firefighters were on the scene until 5 a.m.
