Wednesday, June 25, 2014, 10 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was dispatched at 7 a.m. Wednesday morning for a report of smoke coming from an electrical panel in a home at 4810 Bloomfield Road. Firefighters determined the electrical fire was out when they arrived and requested a utility company representative to remove the electric service meter. The fire crews used their equipment to remove smoke from the home. Firefighters were on the scene for about 45 minutes.
