Saturday, April 2, 2012, 4:38 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to a structure fire at 600 Fairfield Road, the old parsonage at the Cox’s Creek Baptist Church. Nelson County EMS is also responding. A responding firefighter reports heavy smoke is visible from a distance.
4:45 p.m. — Incident commander reports heavy smoke and fire visible from the rear of the structure on his arrival. Fire apparatus is on its way from Bardstown fire station.
