Firefighters respond to oil spill on US 150 at BG interchange

Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, 10:45 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called Friday afternoon to clean up a case of oil that fell off a truck and leaked oil in the eastbound lane of US150 at the Blue Grass Parkway interchange. A city police officer reported the spill at about 3:10 p.m. Firefighters cleaned up the spilled oil with bags of oil absorbent to prevent a traffic hazard at the intersection.
