Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, 10:20 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called Monday morning for a report of smoke inside the First Federal Savings Bank branch at 315 North Third St. in Bardstown. Firefighters responded to the call at about 8:34 a.m. Firefighters determined the problem was with the heating and cooling system, which had been service on Friday. Firefighters used their equipment to remove smoke from the building before returning to station.
