Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, 10 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called about 8:45 Friday morning to Wendy’s restaurant, 806 N. Third St., after a manager called to report a strong smell of gas in the restaurant’s dining room. Firefighters responded and checked inside and outside the restaurant and found no odor or indications of a leak. The restaurant management was advised to call back if the odor returns. Firefighters were on scene for about 10 minutes.
