Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, 2:20 p.m. — A 62-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle as she was crossing the street in front of the Old Courthouse Tuesday morning about 10:30. According to 1320 WBRT, the woman and her husband are visiting the area from Florida. The woman was alert and talking with EMTs as they worked with her on the scene. She was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
