Man hospitalized Sunday night after stabbing self in chest

Sunday, May 6, 2012, 11:55 p.m. — A 21-year-old man was hospitalized Sunday night following an attempt to harm himself. Nelson County EMS was called out at 11:25 p.m. to an address on Harding Street for a report of a suicide attempt by a man who stabbed himself in the chest with a knife. The victim was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment of a stab wound to the upper left chest.
