Thursday, May 30, 2013, 1:30 a.m. — A man described as being about 40 years old was injured Thursday morning when his vehicle rear-ended a tractor-trailer rig at the intersection of East John Rowan and Bloomfield Road.
The accident happened about 12:15 a.m. Police and Nelson County EMS responded to the reported accident. The man was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital with lacerations to his forehead and complaints of head and left side pain.
