Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, 6:15 p.m. — A 47-year-old man was treated at Flaget Memorial Hospital following an assault Monday morning. Nelson County EMS and a deputy sheriff met the man at M & M Get-N-Go, 5707 New Haven Road in Balltown. The man suffered dizziness and a cut that perforated his upper lip. He was transported by EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
