Man injured in large fight in local restaurant’s parking lot

Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, 2 a.m. — Nelson County EMS transported a 52-year-old man who was the victim in a large fight in the parking lot of the Huddle House restaurant, 1478 East John Rowan Blvd. About 1:30 Sunday morning, an eyewitness reported a large fight in the restaurant’s parking lot. The fight broke up as police arrived, with several subjects believed to be part of the fight leaving the scene in a full-size SUV. The victim was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of a bloody and possibly broken nose, a hematoma over the left eye and other facial injuries.
