Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, 10:20 a.m. – Nelson County EMS and police responded Monday about 6 a.m. to Louisville Road at High Grove Hill for a car that left the roadway and overturned. The driver of the late model GEO was not injured in the crash, but the accident snarled traffic and created a traffic hazard. Officers closed the southbound lane of US31E while the accident was cleaned up. The roadway was reopened about 7:15 a.m.
