Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, 4:40 p.m. — A 53-year-old man operating a touring motorcycle was injured Sunday afternoon about 4 p.m. after an accident with a white Toytota pickup truck on KY49, Loretto Road, near its intersection with Balltown Road, KY 46.
The driver of the white Toyota pickup truck fled the accident scene and was last seen traveling south on KY 49 in the direction of Marion County. The victim complained of left leg pain and scrapes and bruises and Nelson County EMS transported the victim to Flaget Memorial Hospital.
